Madison Letizi
After taking a short break to begin her studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, Madison is excited to share that she will be bringing back her Ice Cream for Breakfast fundraiser on June 13, 2026 in support of Make-A-Wish®.
In 2015, Madison’s own wish came true when she travelled to Disney World to meet Elsa and Anna. During her magical trip, she stayed at Give Kids the World Village, where she was able to laugh, play, and make special memories with her family—free from the worries of illness and the spine surgeries she had already endured.
Just two years later, while recovering at McMaster Children’s Hospital from her 7th (of 8 total) spine surgeries due to severe scoliosis caused by a rare form of Muscular Dystrophy, Madison felt called to “pay it forward.” Inspired by her own wish experience—and by her favourite memory of eating ice cream for breakfast—she created the Ice Cream for Breakfast fundraiser to help grant wishes for other children living with critical illnesses.
Although her academic journey required a brief pause, Madison’s commitment to Make-A-Wish has never wavered. She looks forward to continuing this meaningful tradition and hopes you’ll consider supporting her 2026 fundraiser.
Together, we can keep the magic alive. ✨
